Who We Are
Founded in 2013, RockyTHON is a student led program located at Western Illinois University dedicated to raising money and awareness for the advancement of childrens medical care. We indiviudally fundraise, collaborate with corporate sponsors, and program a multitude of events to raise money for the Children’s Miracle Network of Greater St. Louis.
By participating in our organization, you are standing with the kids who we directly support to show that we will not give up on them, or any kid who is in need of medical assistance. Whether you are a donor, participant, or spread the word about our cause, you are contributing to the cause and a part of pushing childrens medical care forwards!

Western Illinois University RockyTHON is one of over 400 national Miracle Network Dance Marathon programs that directly support Children's Miracle Network, a nonprofit organization that raises money and awareness for 170 Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals within the United States and Canada.
Children’s Miracle Network Dance Marathon
Children’s Miracle Network Dance Marathon began in 1991 as a student-led fundraising movement led by Jill Stewart at the University of Indiana for her late friend Ryan White. During the event, students committed to standing, dancing, and celebrating Ryan’s legacy to raise money and awareness for Rileys Children’s Hospital. The first event at Indiana University raised $10,900.
Since then, the movement has grown to over 400 programs in the United States and Canada, raising over $350 Million total since its creation. Each Dance Marathon directly supports their local Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, ensuring that all funds are able to make a positive impact on the community that surrounds them.
