The Director of Entertainment and Activites is in charge of keeping those who attend our events entertained and ensures that they are enjoying themselves so much they will keep coming back. They create unique and engaging activites for our attendees to play and increase retention during all of our events. Thier goal is to not only keep the kiddos active, but also the family members, and most importantly the students.

The Director of Family Relations is responsible for maintaining and strengthening communication with our Miracle Families. A key part of their role is ensuring that we truly know our kiddos and their families, allowing us to create more meaningful and personalized experiences throughout the year. They work to foster strong, lasting relationships by keeping families engaged and involved in RockyTHON beyond just the Main Event.

The Director of Logistics works behind the scenes of all the events like. Some big things they keep track of are dinner tickets. Keeping track of those who buy but also making sure executive board members are selling their mandatory amount. They also work on things like the main event script and presentation we have every year.

The Director of Special Events plans the two dinners we host, Pancake Dinner and Pasta Party. Thier goal is to make sure the dinners run smoothly and effectively. To make sure that happens, they will assign jobs that are required attendance, make sure we have all the supplies needed, and will be ready to help anyone out that has any questions.

The Events and Programming team is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all major RockyTHON events, including Pancake Dinner, Pasta Party, and the Main Event. Led by the Vice President of Events and Programming, the team works closely together to ensure each event runs smoothly and successfully.

The Finance team is responsible for overseeing all fundraising efforts and financial initiatives that help drive RockyTHON’s mission forward. Led by the Vice President of Finance, the team works collaboratively to ensure that fundraising goals are met while also creating engaging, strategic, and sustainable ways to generate support throughout the year.

The Director of Corporate Sponsorship is responsible for developing meaningful incentives for various sponsorship levels, creating comprehensive sponsorship packages to distribute to businesses and organizations, and coordinating efforts to recognize and thank all sponsors for their generosity. They also identify and reach out to potential business partners for specific needs such as incentive items or auction donations.

Fundraising is a core component of RockyTHON, and this role is dedicated to helping both leadership and participants successfully reach their goals. The Director of Fundraising plans and organizes a variety of fundraising events and initiatives throughout the year, while also providing consistent support and check-ins to keep everyone on track. They focus on creating engaging incentives tied to different fundraising milestones to motivate increased participation and donations. In addition, they work to ensure all registered participants have access to opportunities and resources to maximize their fundraising efforts.

Merchandise is a key part of RockyTHON’s fundraising efforts while also helping expand its presence across campus and the community. The Director of Merchandise is responsible for creating fun, trendy, and inclusive designs that appeal to a wide range of supporters and effectively represent the organization. They plan and execute seasonal merch drops that are both timely and marketable, as well as organizing sales opportunities throughout the year. Collaboration is encouraged, with a strong emphasis on gathering creative input and inspiration from others to keep designs fresh and appealing. In addition, this position helps coordinate merch garage sales, offering both new and past inventory, and relies on team support to create an energetic and welcoming environment during sales events.

The Recruitment team is responsible for expanding RockyTHON’s reach and bringing in participants for the Main Event. Led by the Vice President of Recruitment, the team focuses on building strong connections both on campus and within the local community through tabling, organization visits, and partnerships. A key priority is creating engaging recruitment opportunities and continuously finding new ways to attract participants.

The Director of Community Relations plays a key role in building and maintaining strong connections with local organizations and partners, including groups such as the fire department and police department. They focus on strengthening existing relationships while also expanding outreach to new community members and alumni to broaden RockyTHON’s impact. They also work alongside the Events and Programming team to help plan and execute community-focused hours during the Main Event.

The Director of Recruitment plays a vital role in driving participation for the Main Event by leading outreach efforts to campus partners and student organizations. This position helps coordinate tabling initiatives and other recruitment opportunities while encouraging and supporting the entire board in becoming confident and effective recruiters. Through consistent outreach and skill-building, they are key to strengthening recruitment efforts and growing overall involvement.

The Participant Relations and Engagement team manages communication, branding, and participant experience throughout the year to ensure all registered participants stay informed, engaged, and prepared for the Main Event. .

The Director of Participant Relations serves as the primary point of communication for all registered participants, ensuring they stay informed about upcoming events, Main Event details, fundraising expectations, and available resources. They helps keep participants prepared, engaged, and supported throughout their RockyTHON experience. One of thier key focuses is strengthening the connection between recruitment and participant engagement by serving as a recognizable and accessible contact after registration, helping create a more personal connection to the organization.

The Co-Directors of Morale lead a team of dancers, often referred to as our “hype team,” who are responsible for bringing energy, positivity, and excitement to the Main Event. They oversee the planning and execution of key engagement elements, including theme hours, choreography, and the morale dance, all of which play a major role in creating a fun and memorable experience for participants. They also focus on building a strong sense of community by encouraging involvement and creating an inclusive, welcoming environment. An important priority is increasing connection between the morale team and the broader organization, helping members feel engaged and supported while also fostering future leadership within RockyTHON

The Director of Social Media and Graphic Design is responsible for managing RockyTHON’s digital presence and ensuring all content is consistent, engaging, and aligned with the organization’s brand. They create and publish content across social media platforms, stay up to date with current trends, and develop eye-catching graphics that effectively promote events, fundraising efforts, and key initiatives. Working closely with all teams, this position plays a central role in supporting promotional efforts throughout the year. From major campaigns to individual events, they help ensure everything is visually cohesive and set up for success through strong, strategic design and messaging.
